Virtual fluid dynamics analysis allows the designer to examine different kitchen hood solutions before the physical realization of the prototypes, significantly reducing development time and costs.


  • CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modelling of the kitchen hood starting from the drawings provided by the design office
  • Numerical simulations that virtually reproduce the various scenarios of geometric configurations of the fan and types of filters
  • Fan movement simulated with MRF (Moving Reference Frames) or RBM (Rigid Body Motion) methods, filter characteristics contemplated with porous media technique
  • Correlation between the computational model and the real one using experimental tests
